When it comes to the "Y" road it is always wiser to choose the path that God wants you to go. This is the straight path, the narrow road where "the righteous travel is like the sunrise, getting brighter and brighter until daylight has come. The road of the wicked, however, is dark as night. They fall, but cannot see what htey hae stumbled over" (Proverbs 4:18)

In my personal experience, life without God is an empty one where we could spin like a directionless top going nowhere. Everything changes once you put your trust in God. God is love, and our Divine Maker. He is the perfect parent who wants only the best for us. Trust in God and obey his laws: Love the Lord with all your heart, your soul and your mind. The second is to Love your neighbour as thyself.
